Marigold's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Marigold
This sweet 5-year-old Bichon girl is as special as her name. After spending her life as a breeder, Marigold is finally discovering what it means to be loved—and her foster says she’s a “keeper” and one of the very best dogs she’s ever had.
Marigold is a low-maintenance little lady who’s perfectly content with a few bathroom trips a day, a cozy spot to relax, and a person to call her own. She’ll let you know when someone arrives with a quick bark, but she settles down just as fast—she’s simply doing her job!
Because she’s new to the world outside of a kennel, Marigold can be timid with new people, sounds, and experiences. She’ll need a patient, gentle home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe. Once she trusts you, you’ll see just how special she truly is. Marigold will do best with someone who can gently and consistently help her explore life beyond a kennel environment, allowing her to gain confidence without keeping her fully sheltered at home.
She rides nicely in the car and does well with other dogs she meets, but she’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only—as long as she’s not left alone for long hours. We’re unsure how she feels about cats.
Marigold is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and kept healthy with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention—she’s ready for her fresh start!
If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion who just needs a little time to bloom, Marigold might be your perfect match. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.
We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
Thank you!
