Maria was rescued from the shelter after giving birth to beautiful puppies. She cared for them and helped them to have confidence and skills. All were adopted but Maria is now available for her next journey in life. She is getting training to learn how to socialize and leash walk, her applicant is welcome to tag along and see what a good girl she is. Maria will make some fortunate person their furever pet, totally content with being the only dog, she also can learn to socialize with dogs her own size, Maria can play rough (she may have had brothers!), best with children 8-9 yrs or older. <br/><br/>Would you like to know more about adopting Maria Maribelle? All Star Fur Pet's Adoption Policy

Potential Adopters are provided an online link or applicants can also request a (pdf) Pre-Adoption detailed questionnaire to be emailed, for manual completion and return. ASFP will ask for a short video of indoor areas where pets are welcome to hang out, have access to the outside yard (terrace, patio, balcony etc), fence perimeter, video of yard and gate. Phone contact is then made to discuss the questionnaire (family acceptance, nutrition, exercise, vetting etc) and a follow up email is sent with comments or recommendations. If acceptable to all concerned, an appointment is made to introduce our furpet to the person. If it is a good fit, we proceed to do a home check. When there are other family dogs, we may ask to do a meet and greet on neutral territory. When all processes are acceptable, a copy of the Adoption Contract is reviewed and established.
