Maria's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Maria is such a sweet and gentle soul. She was previously a commercial breeding dog and had many litters of puppies. She is grateful to have that life behind her and now experience what a dog’s life should be.

Maria loves the other Cavaliers in her foster home and doesn’t mind the kitty cat either. She’s discovered yak chews are quite entertaining and occasionally likes to hoard the plush squeaky toys in a spot of her choosing.

She’s doing well with her house training with consistency and routine.
Maria does not have an audible heart murmur at this time. She does have a sinus arrhythmia but it’s nothing to be concerned about.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

Physically fenced in yard - we do not allow invisible/electric fences to be used for any of our dogs.
Maria needs a confident resident dog to be happiest and most comfortable in her forever home.

Maria has been spayed and received a dental with several extractions while in rescue. She’s also current on vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.

*Please read through our Cavalier Information page prior to applying for one of our Cavaliers.
