Maria's Story

Maria is at the start of a wonderful new life. We pulled this puppy off a euthanasia list in a crowded shelter. She's just a baby who will now have a chance for a long, beautiful life, but we would far rather have seen this darling gently euthanized in a shelter, than turned away, dumped and abandoned on the side of the road to reproduce a bunch of unwanted puppies and subject to endless suffering before dying in a gutter somewhere. The sad reality is that that there are far more dogs than homes. Darling Maria will be available after spay and vetting.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
