Margot Jelly Bean 's Story
Margot Jelly Bean
Female
English Bulldog Mix
2 years old
40 Pounds
$400 Adoption Fee

Meet Margo “Junkyard” Jelly Bean — a compact 40-lb English Bulldog

Around a year old, Margot is full of personality and affection. She loves walks, playing fetch, soaking up pets, and handing out enthusiastic kisses. She’ll happily roll over for belly rubs and is an expert at giving high-fives. This sweet girl adores her people and bonds deeply with her humans.

Margot enjoys hanging out with the English Bulldog friend in her foster home but has shown us over time, that he might be the exception. As is common for many dogs, Margot isn’t looking for dog parks or a pack of canine siblings — she’s looking for her person.Margot prefers not to share her space or belongings with other pets. Because of this, she’s looking for a home where she can be the only dog — giving her the opportunity to relax, feel secure, and fully enjoy being someone’s one-and-only companion.

In her foster home, Margot has shown that she bonds deeply with her humans and truly thrives in one-on-one time. She loves being near her person, enjoys walks, couch time, and cozy routines, and is happiest when she knows exactly where she belongs — right by your side.

Margot is:
✔️ House trained
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Spayed
✔️ Up to date on vaccinations
✔️ Has had Soft Palate and Stenotic Nares surgery provided by the rescue

Her ideal home would be:
An only-pet household
Adults or older, dog-savvy teens
Someone who enjoys companionship and structure

If you’re searching for a loyal sidekick who will be deeply devoted to you, Margot may just be your girl.

Margot requires proper introductions outside the home so she doesn’t feel the need to be the protector. A lower-traffic home would be ideal while she settles in and learns that she’s safe and secure. She may bark when you leave — mostly because she wants to be your copilot and stay by your side.

The rescue has already provided her with Nares and Soft palate surgery so she's breathing comfortably. This is included in her adoption fee along with spay, vaccinations, microchipping and Heartworm test.
