Margo (Underdog in Foster)'s Story

HOUSE TRAINED: YES

Margo is available for adoption! She is a French bulldog / bully / Staffordshire terrier mix and a very sweet, low-key girl. Margo is fully grown at about 3 years old and 22lbs. She is compact and snuggly! Margo is a perfect fit for a rental or apartment, as she is tiny and quiet and loves to nap.

Margo would do best in a quieter environment as the only dog or as a sister to a low-key small dog. Margo, an introvert, gets a little overwhelmed in public or noisy spaces - she prefers to be your companion for movies, reality TV binges, remote work, or naps. Margo is happiest when she is keeping your feet warm at the foot of your bed. Are you a bookish person? Margo loves being read aloud to. Margo isn't interested in documentaries but is very invested in past seasons of The Traitors UK (she's a Faithful).

Margo does have bursts of energy when in the backyard or when it's time for a walk! Margo gets zoomies around the backyard and is The Fastest Dog of All Time. She sniffs everything on walks because she's nosy and wants to know the neighborhood gossip. But that's only part of the time - most of the time, Margo is snoozing on the coziest spot she can find near you.

Margo is in foster care with three small dog foster sisters and one senior cat foster sister. Margo was scared of the other animals at first and barked at them, but warmed up over time and now snuggles with the dogs for naps (the cat doesn't allow snuggling). Margo is dog friendly when the dog(s) are small, friendly, quiet, and champion nappers like her. She is cat curious but respects the cat's boundaries. Margo's foster mom believes that with patience and time, Margo will warm up and make even more animal friends.

Margo is house trained, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative. She is very good at Sit, Place, and recall (answers to Margo, Marg, Miss Marg, and Margarita). She is kennel trained (she would prefer the human bed) and leash trained. She is perfect.

Email foster@laspca.org to meet Margo!
