Margo's Story

Meet Margo! Margo is around 1 year old and 48lb with the perfect mix of playful energy, affection, and smarts. She's the type of dog who wants to be part of everything you're doing, whether that's heading out on an adventure, working on training, or relaxing at home with a chew toy.

Margo is house trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and already knows several commands including sit, stay, place, down, here, and more. She's eager to learn, loves to please her people, and thrives when she has structure and fun activities to keep her busy.

Her favorite things? Tug-of-war, long walks, exploring outside, chew toys, marrow bones, and soaking up attention from her humans. She's affectionate and cuddly but also has an active side and would love a family who enjoys getting out and doing things with their dog.

Margo would do best in a home with a consistent routine and people committed to continuing her training. She has done well with kids, though older children may be the best fit because of her playful, energetic personality.

At just around a year old, Margo is still young enough to keep learning but old enough to already have a great foundation.

Bark About It Rescue's Adoption Policy
We utilize a foster to adopt process, whereby dogs are placed with a prospective family following the acceptance of their application including a vet reference check and a home check. Following foster placement the rescue follows up with the family to ensure it is a good fit for the dog and family's respective wants and needs. If the foster period is successful, the adoption can be formalized with an adoption contract.
