Margo's Story

*****THIS IS A COURTESY POST******
IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION ON MARGO, PLEASE TEXT TONYIA AT 214.762.4509.
REHOMING FEE APPLIES

Meet sweet Margo. She is a 3 month old Yorkshire terrier mix whose mom is a full Yorkie and the dad is mostly Yorkie with a tinge of alien. Apparently, the litter, with the exception of Margo, came out looking like full Yorkie and were homed quite quickly but Margo had interest because she does not have the typical Yorkie coat. Lucky for Margo though, Tonyia stepped up to take care of her and considered keeping her. Unfortunately, Margo, as a 3-month old puppy, has lots of energy and loves to play, upsetting the resident cats sending one to the vet because the stress is making her ill. So, now we are looking for a forever home for Margo.

Margo is ready for her second round of puppy shots, rabies in a few weeks and,, eventually spayed, which Tonyia will take care of before she is adopted. She will start her flea and heartworm prevention at the appropriate age.

Because of her young age, Margo is still in the learning phase of puppy pen and potty training, and leash training is under way! As with any puppy or small breed dog, vigilance is key when walking or going potty to make sure predators are at bay.

Since there is an issue with the cats, we are recommending a home with no cats, unless you are confident your cats will be okay with a rambunctious puppy. Margo is great with dogs of all sizes, and not afraid of big dogs, and does will with children.

If you are interested in meeting Margo, please complete the adoption inquiry form at recycledloveanimalrescue.org so we can forward it to Tonyia for consideration. The rescue will assist in the vetting of each applicant.
