Margo's Story

Hi, my name is Margo! I'm about 8 years old and 40 pounds of love, energy, and personality.

If you're looking for a typical senior dog who spends all day napping, that's not me! I still have plenty of pep in my step and love staying active. Walks, adventures, exploring new places, meeting people, and playtime are some of my favorite things. I may be a senior, but I haven't gotten the memoI still enjoy getting out and making the most of every day.

At home, I'm a wonderful companion. I'm happy to relax with you after a day of fun and can be very respectful of your space when needed. But when it's time to go somewhere, I'm always ready to hop in and join the adventure. I love being around people and have never met a stranger for long!

I would do best as the only pet in the home, where I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. Because of this, I am not a good fit for homes with other dogs or cats.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend with an outgoing personality, an adventurous spirit, and plenty of energy despite my age, I might be the perfect match for you. And fair warningI may even convince you to let me share the bed!

If you would like to meet this great old dog in person, please contact The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs to arrange a meeting. The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs holds Adoption Sunday on the last Sunday of the month (excluding holidays) from 2-4 PM at our Adoption & Education Center, 4860 Broadview Road in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. Drop by to meet our adoptable dogs. You just might find a new old friend!

Old Dogs, Great Friends!
