Marge's Story

Seeking Hospice Adopter for Marge

We saw a post on Facebook about Marge and immediately recognized the signs of congestive heart failure. We couldn't leave her to face that alone, so we stepped in.

Marge has since been fully evaluated and her diagnosis of heart failure was confirmed. We started her on medications to help keep her comfortable, and she has responded well to them. While she does have advanced heart disease, she still has life in her and enjoys being a dog. She is happy, content, and simply deserves someone to love her for whatever time she has left.

Marge is a sweet, gentle soul. She is patient, kind, and very easygoing with other dogs. She doesn't ask for much, just a calm space, a cozy bed, and someone willing to let her feel safe and loved. She enjoys resting nearby, relaxing on soft blankets, and being part of a home.

We are seeking a compassionate hospice adopter who can give Marge the love and comfort she deserves for the rest of her life. This is not about expecting a dog who is already "gone." Marge is still very much here, enjoying her days, and deserving of happiness.

We can help get her adopter set up with her compounded medications at a discounted cost if needed.

Her adoption fee has been waived. We simply want someone who will promise to spoil her, love her, and be there for her until it is her time to go.

What we provide:
Full rescue support and guidance
Information on her medications and care
Assistance with getting her medications at reduced cost

What we need:
A calm, loving home where Marge can be cherished
Someone willing to continue her comfort care and make end of life decisions when the time comes
This sweet girl deserves dignity, comfort, love, and a soft place to land. We know there is someone out there willing to open their heart to her.
