Got love to give? Margaret wants it! This sweet, calm, adaptable lady just wants to be your best friend. Give her one look and her tail starts wagging. Give her a pet and she’ll curl into you, getting her body as close as she can to yours to soak up all the love. She doesn’t want much, just attention, a comfy bed, and a few square meals a day.
When Margaret came to us, she had severe allergies that resulted in skin troubles, but she is healing nicely and well - she takes her medication with no trouble, and she settles in to new environments quickly. She’s great with other dogs and cats, and would probably adapt well to kids. She sleeps in the crate at night and knows to go potty outside. Give this sweet girl a chance — she’ll add so much love to your home!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program/
