HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt). Please use our official website rather than the Petfinder "Start your Inquiry" button.

Marcy #4 is an 8-year-old 77 lb. Lab mix who was brought to the shelter with a docked tail. We think she’s mixed with Great Pyrenees. Marcy is an exceptionally sweet girl who adores affection, people, and being loved on. She is exemplary in a home - she is house trained, sleeps peacefully in her bed through the night, and loves her toys. Marcy is perfectly content entertaining herself and is happiest exploring the fenced in yard. She is an easy low-key, low-maintenance girl who would make an ideal loyal and affectionate companion. She does not jump and rarely barks. She walks on a leash but does best on a harness to avoid pulling.

A recent incident with two aggressive dogs while out on a walk has left Marcy fearful and reactive to other dogs. At this point, she will need to be the only dog in the home as she continues to decompress and gain confidence.

QUESTIONS: For additional information about Marcy #4 please email Marla
Cox: mclabs4rescue@gmail.com

Marcy #4 is being fostered in Connecticut..

BEFORE YOU APPLY: Please review our "Adopt a Lab" page labs4rescue.com/adopt) and our Sample Adoption Contract.
