Marco's Story

Greetings from chih-chih land... it's itty, bitty 4 year old Marco popping in to say "pick me"... When my owners were no longer able to care for me, they reached out to this great rescue group to help me find my perfect forever home. It's been a whirlwind of changes but I am handling each challenge like a champ. I am working on good house manners, love my long daily walks, yummy food and all the attention given to me in my foster home. Due to my very tiny size (only 4 lbs) I will be better suited for an adult home or one with older children. As an added bonus, I could fit in your purse! LOL. When adopted, I will always require adult supervision in a secure yard as I could easily be scooped up by hawks, owls or coyotes. My temperament is calm, loving, gentle, sweet and very smart. Sounds like a fit for you? If so, and you live in the Phoenix metro area, please complete the rescue's online application at www. helpadogsmile.org and my foster momma will be happy to chat with you. The vet has given me my DHPP and bordatella vaccinations, the big snip-snip neuter and even popped in a microchip. WooHoo! I am ready to go! My adoption fee of $350 helps with the medical expenses incurred by the Rescue.

Please note, the application doesn't commit you to an adoption, it is a tool used to help determine if we would be a good match. Hope to hear from you soon, dreaming of my forever home.
