Hi, I’m Mara a 7-year-old, 59-lb girl who’s ready for a brand-new chapter. For a long time, my life was about having puppies, but now I’m spayed and finally get the chance to just be me. I’ve lived with lots of other dogs (up to eight at one point!), so I’m very comfortable around them. I’m calm and easygoing, and where I'm staying I walk nicely on leash and don’t react to other dogs when we pass by and I do GREAT in a daycare environment. I enjoy simple pleasures — free roaming around the house, relaxing, and running or playing in the backyard a few times a day. I’m great with kids, even little ones and I have a sweet, gentle nature that makes me an easy companion. After everything I’ve been through, I’d love a quiet, loving home where I can feel safe, cared for, and truly part of a family.<br/>I’ve given a lot in my life — now I’m ready to receive love, comfort, and a forever home of my own!<br/><br/>Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs.
