For the past five years, Mara has been used as a breeding dog. She has done her job, raised her babies, and now those days are behind her. It’s finally Mara’s turn to just be a dog.

It’s time for her to discover all the things a beloved family dog gets to enjoy—the comfort of a soft bed, leisurely walks, toys of her very own, exploring a backyard, afternoon naps, and most importantly, knowing what it feels like to be someone’s cherished companion. Mara is a beautiful girl with the sweetest face and soulful eyes. At five years old, she is at such a wonderful age: well beyond the puppy stage, but still young enough to have many years of adventures ahead of her.

Because Mara has spent her life as a breeding dog, her new family will need to understand that some of the everyday experiences of living in a home may be new to her. She deserves someone who will give her the patience, kindness, and time she needs as she adjusts to this new life.
