Maple's Story

Maple was found as a stray and was pregnant. She delivered within 3 days of us taking her under rescue and had 11 puppies who are now the Breakfast Club puppies. Maple is very sweet, loves people, does well with other dogs. Cats unknown. She is heartworm positive but rescue covers all treatment expenses. She has started her heartworm treatment. Rescue covers all medical expenses for the treatment. Maple prefers to be around her human as much as possible. She is not a fan of the crate and is not destructive outside of her crate. She does have some separation anxiety, so a person who WFH, is retired OR is able to bring Maple to work with him/her would be ideal. *New Hanover and surrounding counties only right now as she's getting treated

Freedom Bridge Animal Rescue NC, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

All fosters and adopters are screened to include a vet check and home check prior to placing any pup. We often have pre-adoption events where potential adopters can meet the pups. IF they find a pup they are interested in, an application is completed along with the checks noted above. We bring the pup over and help with any meet and greets as needed, along with supplies for a week as we offer a one week trial prior to needing to commit. IF the pup is not ready yet (e.g. more vaccines, altering, etc) the pup can go as a foster to adopt during which time that pup is still under our ownership until all has been completed.
