Maple Bacon's Story

MAPLE BACON IS READY TO BRING HOME THE BACON!

Meet Maple Bacon - a 2-year-old, 70 lb beautiful mix breed with giant paws, an even bigger heart, and enough personality to fill the room!

Looking for a four-legged adventure buddy? Maple is your girl! She's a fantastic car rider, loves hitting the road, and would happily be your copilot for road trips, errands, or wherever the next adventure takes you. And when she's not out exploring, she's perfectly happy soaking up cuddles and showing off her big-dog zoomies!

Maple is affectionate, confident, silly, and loving. She's settled beautifully into foster life and is showing everyone what a fun, loyal companion she can be. She knows sit, lay down, stay, and crate, and she's doing wonderfully with routine and structure. She's a smart girl who is eager to please and ready to keep learning!

What does life with Maple look like?

DOGS: Maple can live with other dogs, especially calm, laid-back personalities. She prefers respectful friendships over wild doggy chaos and does best with slow, proper introductions. She would also be perfectly happy being your one-and-only dog and soaking up all the attention!

KIDS: YES! Maple has done wonderfully with kids ranging from toddlers to teens. She handles the noise, silliness, and everyday kid chaos beautifully and is happy to be part of a family.

CATS: Nope! Maple needs a cat-free home.

Bottom line? Maple Bacon is a big, lovable, adventure-loving girl who wants to be part of the family. She'll make you laugh, happily ride shotgun on adventures, soak up the cuddles, and probably convince you that 70 pounds is actually the perfect lap-dog size.

Maple Bacon is ready for her forever family - is that you?

Maple Bacon's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care.

We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
