At 8 months old, Maple is a sweet, well-balanced young girl with a loving, easygoing nature. She enjoys playtime with other dogs but settles beautifully once she’s had some activity. She’s respectful with canine friends, comfortable around cats, and would thrive either with another dog or as an only pet in a home committed to regular walks and engagement.<br/><br/>Maple walks wonderfully on leash — she rarely pulls and simply enjoys stopping to take in all the interesting smells along the way. She recently visited a busy local brewery and impressed everyone with her calm, gentle manners. She happily greeted new dogs and was patient and friendly with adults. We recommend children over the age of 10 or children that have a strong understanding of a dogs boundaries and what puppy play is. <br/><br/>She does have an adorable “chatty” side and will sweetly vocalize when she’s inviting you (or another dog) to play — it’s more conversational than loud, and part of her personality.<br/><br/>What truly makes Maple special is how affectionate she is. She’ll quietly come over, rest her head against you for a snuggle, or lie beside you with a paw gently placed on your arm. And she never turns down a belly rub.<br/><br/>She already knows “sit” and “down,” is highly food motivated, and very smart. She’s still building her recall skills, so a securely fenced yard will help set her up for success. With continued structure and positive reinforcement, Maple is going to grow into an exceptional family companion.<br/><br/>Her spay will be included in her fee and scheduled with our prefered vet.
