Miss Maple arrived into the GRRR rescue on Labor Day after a lifetime of having golden retriever puppies. Maple is thought to be around 6 years old. Her pictures here focus in on one tired gal. She is now starting the journey of rest and learning how to live in a real home as a loved dog.<br/><br/>Maple is good with other dogs and walks well on a leash with encouragement that everything is ok wherever she is going. Maple will need another dog in her home to help with her transition into her new life.<br/><br/>Maple went in to be spayed on October 13th. By the end of the week, she was extremely ill and needed to be rushed to an emergency vet over a weekend. Unfortunately she had to have emergency surgery to the tune of $6,165.50. She came home and needed to be fed and iced 4 times a day and had 4 medications.<br/><br/>We really need help with her medical bill. Can you help us raise funds to pay this unexpected bill?
