It's hard to imagine how such an affectionate dog found herself alone, because all Maple wants is a safe place to call home and someone to love.<br/><br/>Maple is happiest spending time with her people. She enjoys relaxing at home, soaking up affection, and curling up beside her favorite humans. She also likes exploring the yard, sniffing new scents, and going for leisurely walks (although see can pull on the leash and would benefit from some continued leash training).<br/><br/>Maple has beautiful eyes, one brown and one blue, that perfectly match her unique personality. She rides well in the car and is always happy to be part of the adventure.<br/><br/>We think Maple would prefer to be the only dog or live with another mellow canine companion. High-energy dogs can make her nervous. From what we've seen, she does well with chickens, strangers, babies, toddlers, and older children.
