Animal Information: Maple is an estimated 2-year-old, Pittie/Heeler mix currently weighing approximately 41 lbs. She is short, sturdy, and absolutely full of heart. She’s not quite a low-rider, but she’s pretty dang close, and totally owns her compact, lovable build. At just about two years old, Maple has the perfect mix of youthful energy and grown-up sweetness.<br/><br/>Foster Profile:<br/><br/>Maple is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys cuddles, playtime, and goofing around. She also loves exploring new places, whether it’s walking around a bustling neighborhood or a quieter park.<br/><br/>Although she has quite an energetic personality, she’s been showing lots of improvement in being able to just relax and enjoy quiet time with her foster humans (preferably with her favorite blanket or toys next to her!).<br/><br/>She generally easily warms up to everyone, always shows openness to meeting new people and other dogs, and has never shown aggression or hostility.<br/><br/>So far, Maple knows basic commands like sit, off, and wait. She’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and house-trained.
