She was surrendered to a shelter in Texas after her owner became a victim of domestic violence. To keep Manuka safe and out of the wrong hands, the shelter designated her Rescue Only, ensuring she could leave only with a reputable rescue organization.<br/><br/>Despite everything shes been through, Manuka has remained an incredibly loving and gentle girl.<br/><br/>She is great with dogs and kids. She hasnt met any cats yet, so her feline compatibility is still a mystery. She loves going for walks, relaxing on a restaurant patio, and if youre enjoying a meal, dont be surprised if she politely asks for a tiny taste or two. <br/><br/>Shes housebroken, crate trained, and trustworthy enough to have free roam of the house while youre away she will happily spend the day napping until her favorite people come home.
