Manny's Story

Breed: Chihuahua
Age: 8 mons. as of 5/12/26
Weight: 7.5 lbs.
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: unsure
Good with kids: unsure
Energy level: unsure
Good with men/strangers: yes
Hypoallergenic: no

Special home requirements or medical: none

Additional info:

Manny is a tiny 8lb companion with the biggest heart. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loves to show off his sweet, gentle personality.

He enjoys curling up beside you on the couch, sleeping in bed, being carried around, and rolling onto his back for belly rubs. Manny loves companionship and will happily wander from room to room alongside you while you’re home, but he also settles well on his own and spends much of his day napping nearby.

Manny is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps through the night, and walks beautifully on leash. He does not fully understand toys yet, but he is curious about them. He has not barked once while with his foster mom and has a very calm presence in the home. When left alone, he may whine briefly at first, but he quickly relaxes and settles in for a nap until you return.

He has been around small and big dogs, cats, and new people. While he may look to his foster mom for reassurance at first, he warms up quickly with patience and kindness. Manny previously lived with another dog and could do well with a companion, though he also seems perfectly content being the only dog in the home.

One of the cutest parts of watching Manny gain confidence is seeing his tall, little ears slowly perk up as his personality comes out too. Every day he grows a little braver, sweeter, and more comfortable. More than anything, Manny is looking for a loving home where he can continue to feel safe, adored, and deeply loved.

INTERESTED IN THIS PUP?
