Mango's Story

Mango here again and this time she’s ready to find her forever family!

Mango is on the hunt for a home that truly understands a higher-energy hound. She would love a family with other playful dog friends to help burn off some of that enthusiasm and keep life fun and balanced.

This girl will absolutely thrive in an active household. Long walks, outdoor adventures, and interactive play are her love language and fair warning, she’s basically a built-in personal trainer who will have you summer-ready in no time!

Thanks to her foster mom’s consistency and patience, Mango is nearly crate and potty trained and learning what it means to be an indoor dog. That said, like any pup adjusting to a new environment, she may have a little regression at first. The good news? She’s incredibly smart and eager to please, so she catches on quickly with structure and routine.

Mango is a little over a year old, fully vetted, and weighs around 45 pounds of lean, athletic energy.

She absolutely adores people of all ages, especially kids. She’s affectionate, playful, and happiest when she’s right in the middle of whatever her family is doing.

If you’re looking for a fun, goofy, adventure-loving sidekick and have a soft spot for a failed hunting dog who’s learning how to be a house dog, Mango just might be your girl!
