Mambo is a four-year-old, 43-pound Beagle mix with a bright spirit and so much potential just waiting to shine. Life hasnt been easy for this handsome boy. Hes had a couple of placements that didnt work out, largely due to a lack of early socialization and training. But heres the important part: Mambo is learning, growing, and showing us every day that he can succeed.<br/><br/>Since arriving at the shelter, Mambo has worked with a trainer and made meaningful progress. He has not shown much resource guarding in our care and is learning how to feel safe and confident. He can be muzzled and meets new people well for the most part, showing a willingness to trust and connect.<br/><br/>Mambo will do best with an experienced, patient adopter who is committed to continuing his training and setting him up for success. His furever person needs to be willing to get into training immediately, HFG will provide support with that. Crate training will be a necessary tool in Mambo's home. He does not do well around children or pregnant women from what we've seen so he needs a home where he will not be in contact with them. He needs to be the only pet in the home, where he can relax and thrive.
