Mama Sophie

Meet Sophie! This girl has a truly special story. <br/><br/>*She is a 45 pound Yellow Lab mix who came to us after being dumped on the side of the road with several of her dog friends. <br/>* She came to the shelter heavily pregnant right before delivering puppies. She gave birth to eight beautiful, healthy babies. They grew up and went to foster homes, leaving her here. <br/><br/>* She is a very shy and timid gal. She allows up to go in the kennel and love on her. We are still gaining her trust. We think she would do wonderful in a quieter home. She is very loving when given time to slowly trust!<br/>* Mama Sophie is doing better on leash walks, she had to learn how to walk. We think she would benefit greatly from being in a home with another confident dog. She loves other dogs, and does really well when another dog is leading the way. <br/><br/>*She is fixed, micro chipped, and vaccinated. She would love to get out of the loud, stressful shelter.
