Mama Nova's Story

If you are looking for a dog who is past the crazy puppy and teenage phases and is trustworthy to leave alone without the fear of coming back to a messy or destructive surprise, then Nova is the gal for you! She is a calm and independent girl who has proved over and over again that she can be trusted to be left on her own, even without being crated. She has been with us for 2 months now and has NEVER had an accident or nibbled on anything. She is the perfect housemate! She will go into her crate, and is calm and quiet while in it, but she would really prefer not to be crated. We don’t even crate her anymore.

This girl LOVES her people! She is very gentle and although she weighs in at about 70 lbs, she can be trusted around little ones to not jump on or knock them over as well as having a very gentle mouth when taking treats. She is the most lovable and sweetest girl. She loves carrying around her stuffies and will joyfully prance after it in a fun game of fetch (it is so cute!!). She is a Cane Corso/boxer/shepherd mix and approximately 2-3 yrs old. She is cautious and seems very alert to new situations; she may also have a livestock protector breed in the mix.

She previously lived with other dogs and has been good meeting dogs with very slow introductions. She would probably do best in a home without other dogs or with dogs that are calm and respectful of her personal space and things.

Nova came into rescue so her puppies could safely be brought into the world and they could all be given loving homes. Her puppies are now all off in their forever homes and she has been waiting patiently for her own. Could it be yours??
All of our adoption fees include veterinary exam, age appropriate vaccines (up to date at time of adoption) spay/neuter, microchip and deworming.

Puppies $550

Kittens $200

Adult fees vary, please message our page.
