Mama's Story

Friendly, active, and full of personality

Mama is a confident, social dog who likes attention, enjoys being out and about, and doesn't do much halfway. She's the kind of dog who will happily join you for walks, yard time, and whatever else is going on--as long as she gets to be part of it.

She's easy to get out of the kennel and settles better once she's outside, though she can pull on leash at first. Her biggest challenge is excitement. Mama loves people and can get jumpy when she wants attention, so she'll need an adopter who can be consistent about manners and help her keep all four feet on the ground. Because of that, she's probably a better fit for a home without very small children, even though she has done well in a meet-and-greet with kids.

Mama is a nice mix of active and calm, and she clearly enjoys being around people. With structure, boundaries, and a little polishing, she has a lot going for her. If you want a friendly dog with personality and energy, come meet Mama.We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! No Appointments required!
