Malibu's Story

Malibu came to us when his litter was surrendered to our rescue at just 5 weeks old and has been here ever since! He has always been on the more timid side, and leaned on his brothers for confidence and support so he is very dependent on other dogs to learn social cues. He is smart, but tends to focus more on his canine companions and less on the humans so an experienced dog parent would be best.<br/>Malibu is a little wary of people at first, but will warm up after he gets to know you. He is sweet and fun and active, and it would be great to find him a home where he can be exercised often. The husky in his nature likes to be busy, so please be able to offer physical and mental stimulation. He is very much a pack pup and would love to have another dog in his household. He is BIG for his age, and while he is good with older children, he isn't aware of his size and could potentially knock younger kids down by accident. He is potty/dog door trained, but will pee a little with excitement of which he will probably outgrow it.
