Malibu (Ekolu)

Meet EKOLU! Ekolu ( affectionately known as "Ekky" ) came to us from a high kill shelter in California. She was found by animal control there in serious pain from an injured leg. She had to sit for 8 days with no pain medication until a California rescued pulled her from animal control and set her to us. Initially, we all thought that she would have to lose the leg, but this sweet girl finally had luck on her side! She did have to have surgery on the leg, but she is on the mend! EKky has been in foster care and has shown that she is good with dogs and cats, has a little bit more to work on in the area of housebreaking(she holds it, but doesn't know how to give signals that she needs to potty yet), and would do best with more mature children or a childless household.
