Malachi's Story

What we know about Malachi (nickname Kai):

- Roughly 10 months old
- Male (neutered)
- UTD on vaccines
- HW- and on hw prevention
- On flea tick prevention
-Microchipped
- Currently 33lbs and will likely be around 40lbs full grown
- Hound/Lab Mix
- Dog friendly (typical puppy like energy)
-Kid friendly
- Cat friendly
-House-trained (once in a routine) & Crate-trained
-Walks well on a leash

Malachi's story was brought to our local animal control as a stray with a broken femur that needed surgery to repair. Because the shelter did not have the funds to try and save his leg, they reached out to us for help. No Kill Glynn County pulled him and was able to get him to an orthopedic surgeon to have his femur repaired. He has since been medically cleared and is back to being able to be a puppy!

* Malachi does currently require a medication that he gets 2x a day (it is an anti-convulsion medication) (once with his breakfast and the other with his dinner). There is a chance he will be able to be weaned off, but at this time it is a requirement. *

If you are interested in Malachi- please fill out this adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/203216945213146
