Major

Major is a happy, affectionate 6-year-old boy with a smile that will win you over instantly. He's an active, engaged guy who loves car rides, long walks, and playtime — you'll often catch him galloping around with a big, loose, wiggly wag. He also knows how to settle in and relax with his people, curling up on the bed or couch at the end of the day.

Major already knows sit, stay, wait, and leave it, and picks things up quickly — he's clearly had some good training in his life. He's affectionate and food-motivated, loves a good belly rub, and enjoys playing with toys and chews. He only spent a short time — about three months — in his last home, so we're getting to know the real Major here at the shelter, where he's shown himself to be a sweet, easygoing dog.

Major would prefer to be the only dog in your home due to some bad experience with off leash dogs in the past.
However, he has successfully lived with cats, so might appreciate a feline friend.

Major is generously sponsored by Fox Motors Marquette, so his adoption fee is waived!
