All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. <br/><br/>When we asked Major’s foster mom to describe him her first word was “extrovert.” He is super social and loves people! <br/><br/>He is an Australian Shepherd and he’s almost a year old and 45 lbs. Major is super smart however he does like to bark in his kennel when his foster family is at work. We think a family who has someone who works from home or has a stay at home parent would make him extremely happy. <br/><br/>Major is housetrained and he’s fine with other dogs however he can be annoying to them if they do not like to play as much as he does! <br/><br/>Major is such a beautiful boy so we hope he catches a new family’s eye soon! Adoption Prerequisites: All animals in your home must be spayed/neutered All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of being on the medication year round. All Adopters must be residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex A vet check is required for all adoptions Our Adoption Process: Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application. Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative. Step 3: After completing our pre-adoption process and vet check, we will contact you.
