Major's Story

Meet Major! Major is a 2.5-year-old mixed breed pup weighing about 25–30 pounds, and he is basically the total package: adorable, dog-friendly, snuggly, and oh-so-cute.

Major takes a little time to feel safe in unfamiliar situations. New people and places can make him a bit nervous at first, so he’ll need a patient, understanding adopter who can move at his pace and help him build confidence. But with a little time and reassurance, Major truly blossoms. Having another dog in his foster home has really made a difference.

Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines! He loves human attention, wants to be close to his person, and is all about the snuggles. He’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you and make himself right at home.

Major gets along well with other dogs and has been a wonderful houseguest—he’s had no accidents in his foster home! While he does have a playful side, he’s happiest being your cozy companion and expert cuddle buddy at the end of the day.

Major would do best with a calm, patient home that can show him the world isn’t so scary. He should ideally go to a home with another doggie playmate, adults only or older dog-savvy children. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion to grow with, Major may be your perfect match.

Apply here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AWSH/Dog

What is included in our adoption fee,
The dog will be up to date on:
*Age-appropriate vaccinations
*Deworming
*Micro chip - no annual fee
*Flea/tick prevention
*Heartworm prevention
**Spay/Neuter at our partner vet

The adoption Fee is $350
