Maizee is a 3-year-old, 40 lb girl with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She got a super cute muscular little body with a striking brindle coat.<br/>She's a shy pup who had a rough start-after roaming the streets for some time, a caring group stepped in and brought her to safety with us. She's tender-hearted, observant, and quietly affectionate.<br/>She's very smart, house trained, rides well in a car, and loves to play catch with her human. She is leash trained and has completed her first level of obedience training.<br/>She happily comes when she is called,<br/>stays off the furniture and she is calm indoors. <br/>Maizee has been in a foster home for 7 weeks and she is learning how to be a regular dog. She just needs patience, reassurance, and love to help her build confidence. Maizee is cat selective, and very dog friendly.<br/>She has been to some adoption events and she has done well with children, other dogs and people she doesn't know. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative, and she would thrive in a calm, understanding home willing to go at her pace and show her what safety and love truly feel like. Watching her confidence blossom will be incredibly rewarding
