Smart, quick to pick up on “rules of the house”. Maizie loves to play with our Britt boy. She is the perfect night time TV companion. Never hogs the remote, willing to share popcorn and sit through the nightly news. She sleeps the night in her kennel.<br/><br/>During daylight hours, Maizie is an ACTIVE gal. She spends her days playing and hunting the abundant squirrels on our property. She may be a candidate for scent training or agility. She is fast, graceful and really needs an outlet for her high level energy.<br/><br/>Maizie a very special girl. She would do well in an active household that is committed to providing structure and training. We have no experience with small children or cats. Given her prey drive with squirrels, she most likely is not suited to living with cats. We are not considering long distance or sight unseen adoptions. You must commit to a meet and greet (humans and canines) to assure we have a good match for all.<br/><br/>Ms. Maizie was an owner surrender to rescue. Her owner moved to a property that did not provide Maizie with much outdoor time or room to stretch those Brittany legs. Knowing Maizie needed more, she was surrendered to us. This girl is up to date on vaccinations, Heart Worm negative and on preventative. She is also micro chipped. This sweet, active girl is waiting for her forever family.
