Once inside, she is well-behaved and easy to live with. When it’s time to relax, she is right at your feet or waiting to be invited beside you on the couch, happy to soak up affection. Trustworthy loose in the house, and will crate if needed. Entertains herself nicely and loves a good chew bone.<br/><br/>Maisie is doing very well on leash. #1 on her wish list is a fenced yard where she can watch the world and sniff to her heart's content. She is learning that car rides lead to fun new places.<br/><br/>Maisie is a smart girl who picks up new routines easily. She’s building confidence every day and would thrive with a family that enjoys peaceful walks, quiet companionship, and plenty of love. Older kids who are kind and gentle would suit her just fine.<br/><br/>She is good with other dogs and meets them politely on walks. Maisie lives with another dog in her foster home, and would enjoy a companionable canine roommate. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul. <br/><br/>Maisie's adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. All of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
