MAIA is one of the cutest, smartest, happiest girls ever! She is between 1 to 2 years old and 22 lbs. She looks like a combination of a mini Husky & mini Shepherd! Her photos are cute, but she is even more stunning in person! <br/><br/>Maia was on death-row at a local shelter because she was injured. Most likely hit by a car. She had a severely fractured and displaced left rear leg and a cracked hip. Maia has undergone two surgeries for her leg, another surgery for her hip, and a bone graft. She had a long road to recovery with physical therapy after each surgery. Despite it all, Maia never complained. She was definitely a favorite of the hospital staff!<br/><br/>Today Maia walks, runs, and plays without any hesitation! You wouldn't have any idea of what she has been through! She loves to play chase and tug-of-war with her foster siblings. She is house-trained and walks well on a leash.
