This sweet boy loves people, loves attention, and does well with other dogs. He especially enjoys being held and soaking up all the love he can get. And then there’s that adorable little snort—Mahoney sounds just like a piggie! Oh, and he absolutely LOVES cheese!<br/><br/>Mahoney is a 2-year-old, full-grown 8-pound Brown & White Mixed Breed with a whole lot of charm in a very little package. He did wonderfully on a pack walk, keeping right up with everyone and happily meeting strangers along the way. He got along well with all the dogs, walked nicely on leash, and was a very good little passenger in the van.<br/><br/>Mahoney would do best in a home without young children, based on what we learned from his previous foster home. He has a great personality—adorable, devoted, and happiest when he knows his people love him. If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a huge heart, a snorty little soundtrack, and a serious appreciation for cheese, Mahoney might just be your perfect little pup!<br/><br/>Adopting from the SPCA of the Triad means giving your new companion a healthy and happy start! Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and heartworm testing, so you can feel confident your furry friend is ready for their new home.<br/><br/>Mahoney also comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists and online materials to help ensure a smooth transition into a new home.
