Magnolia's Story

Magnolia is looking for her forever home after her retirement from the UC Davis Veterinary School Teaching Colony Program

Magnolia is a very sweet girl, who loves people and their attention. She gets along well with other dogs and is in several colony play groups. She is a puppy at heart and is very playful. She would do best with an active family who is willing to continue her training to make her a wonderful family pet. Magnolia would be a fantastic second dog. She has attended training class and has made great progress. She is crate trained for overnight and is almost fully potty trained. Her Wisdom Panel came back as a Great Pyrenees mix.

From her assigned enrichment student: “Magnolia is a wonderful pup with a soft, warm, and happy disposition. As the newest member of the program, she is already a quick learner. While we’re still training her each week, she has already picked up a lot of the basics and is quickly learning to run on leash during bike rides. She loves going on runs and has lots of energy, but can also be chill when it is appropriate. She is very friendly with other dogs has little experience with cats. However, she has a milder prey drive compared to most dogs and only occasionally perks up when a squirrel passes by. Anyone offering her a home would be lucky to have her and there is no doubt she would make a fine addition to wherever she goes!”.
