At just 14 pounds, shes the perfect size for lap cuddles, road trips, and quiet evenings at home.<br/><br/>Maggie is currently living in a foster home where she has shown what a wonderful companion she is. She is housebroken, crate trained, rides well in the car, and gets along with dogs, cats, children, men, and women. She has all the qualities that make senior dogs such treasuresshes past the puppy chaos and ready to focus on what matters most: spending time with her people.<br/><br/>When Maggie entered rescue, she tested positive for heartworms. The good news is that her condition was caught early, and there is no evidence of damage to her heart. Pet Adoption League is covering the cost of her heartworm treatment, and she is expected to make a full recovery.
