Because of that, she didn't have the opportunity to experience the socialization and individual attention that every puppy deserves.<br/><br/>Maggie May is shy and cautious in new situations. She is not aggressive and has never shown any signs of biting—she's simply learning that people can be kind and the world isn't such a scary place. With patience, gentle encouragement, and lots of positive experiences, we hope she'll continue to gain confidence. While we can't promise exactly how much she'll blossom, we know she deserves the opportunity to find out.<br/><br/>Maggie May needs a family that understands trust isn't built overnight. She won't be the puppy who comes running the moment you call her name. Instead, she'll need someone willing to meet her where she is, let her set the pace, and celebrate every small victory along the way.<br/><br/>Because of her timid nature, we believe Maggie May would do best in a home with children 12 years of age or older.<br/><br/>We'll be happy to talk with anyone interested in Maggie May to make sure she's the right fit.
