Maggie Mae - Foster Needed!'s Story
Meet Maggie Mae! With her gorgeous eyes and pretty smile, beautiful Maggie Mae has had quite the journey — and now she’s ready for her forever chapter, filled with love, laughter, and a family to call her own. She was living outside tied to a chain until being rescued and was happy to be in a foster home. Things were going well for Maggie Mae finally, and she was learning manners and enjoying the comforts of a home. Maggie Mae did well with kids and other dogs, ignored the cat, and enjoyed hiking. Maggie is a high energy girl and is happy to be on the move. Then one day everything changed—the car ride, the unfamiliar place, the promise (or so she thought) that someone would come back. Days turned into nights, and Maggie Mae waited. She watched every door, perked up at every footstep, hoping it was her foster family. But no one came. Somewhere along the way, she started to wonder if she had done something wrong. She didn't. Maggie Mae was thriving in their home, and they were just going on vacation for a short time. It is hard to understand why they wouldn't return for her. Now Maggie Mae has been let down again.

But this beautiful girl has a soft, hopeful tail wag that says she’s still willing to try again. She will learn that not everyone leaves. That some hands are kind, some voices stay, and some hearts don’t give up on you. Every day, Maggie Mae is finding her confidence again—one cuddle, one walk, one kind word at a time.
Maggie Mae is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to an active family.
