Maggie in LA - A Super Playful Girl!'s Story

Maggie is a young Pyrenees mix who has been a great mother to her three pups and now it’s time for her to find her own home. She is very friendly and happy to receive love and attention from humans, and she loves playing with the dogs in her foster home. Maggie is a little underweight but is getting lots of good groceries and is expected to fill out and reach about 75 pounds. She has medium-length soft white fur with pretty tan and black markings on her face and ears. She’s eager to learn new skills but is already housebroken and leash trained. This playful girl has the high-energy level of the youngster that she is! She loves water and enjoys swimming and is happy to sample any food that is offered. Her foster mom describes her as having the “patience of a saint” and a happy and playful disposition. Her ideal family would include her in activities, have a 5-foot fenced yard, and another dog or two to play with.
- Written by M.M.

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102
NGPR dogs are in foster homes at the location specified on their full listing. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
