Maggie

Maggie is a sweet little hound mix who was turned in to a Virginia shelter because she wasn't a good hunter. Maggie is about 1.5 yrs old and she's a petite hound or hound/beagle mix at about 42 lbs. She has moderate energy and is not very demanding but does enjoy attention and petting. Maggie is silly and playful. She enjoys watching the horses where she's staying and gets a little jumpy and gallopy - but she does not jump on people. Maggie gets along with other dogs and will make a good companion. Once we review your application one of our Adoption Counselors will be in touch to review it with you. Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
