Maggie's Story

Hi, I'm Maggie. I'm a super sweet and loving girl who's eager to please. I'm extremely food motivated and a fast learner. Right now I am overweight, but staff are working hard to get me back into shape. I love car rides, long walks, puzzle toys, and belly rubs. My best home is one where I am the only pet and no small kids. Despite being an only pet, I have enough love in my heart to make up for it! I love meeting new people and am super happy-go-lucky. Come meet me, I promise you will love me!

Great River Rescue's Adoption Policy

Cat Prices: $106.60 +tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (feline distemper), de-worming, flea/ear mite treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination from our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15. Dog Prices: $208.57 + tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (canine distemper & Bordetella), de-worming, flea/tick treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination with our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15.
