Maggie’s journey began with heartbreak and hope. Her parents, Hank and Lucy, were abandoned—Lucy left pregnant and alone inside an apartment, and Hank tied outside on the porch. For more than a week, they cried out for help, with no food or water, until a kind stranger finally stepped in. That same night, in the safety of a foster home, Lucy gave birth to six puppies. Maggie is one of her precious babies—and the one who looks just like her sweet momma.<br/><br/>Maggie is quiet and a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her personality shines. She’s incredibly sweet and gentle, a soft soul who loves snuggles and has a heart-melting gaze. But don’t let her calm side fool you—this girl can zoom! Maggie is famous for her lightning-fast zoomies and loves a good game of fetch. She may not be the loudest in the pack, but her joyful energy and tender spirit leave a big impression.<br/><br/>At 10 weeks old, Maggie will be spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted on July 23rd. We’re currently accepting applications to find her a forever home where she can be loved, cherished, and celebrated—zoomies and all.<br/><br/>****PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ****QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE ADOPTING ANY PET: Adoption should NEVER be an impulsive decision, it must be thought out carefully. Adopting a pet is a 15 to 20+ year commitment. Can we afford to care properly for our new family member? If we're renting do they allow pets here? Is there a pet deposit? Can we afford the pet deposit? What if we get sick, what if our pet becomes ill and has to see a veterinarian? Pets requires routine check-ups, annual vaccines, quality food, many necessities and toys, can we afford this? These are all questions a responsible pet owner must ask themselves.
