Maggie's Story

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,
things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your
adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam
and follow up exams.~

Health: When Maggie was two years old, she was treated for heart worms. When she was four years old, she was hospitalized for pancreatitis from eating a poisonous mushroom but she recovered from that. No other obvious issues were noted during vet exam *****

Temperament: Maggie is very shy at first. She takes just a few days to adjust and enjoy your company. Otherwise, Maggie is very sweet.

She tolerates baths and blow drying very well but she won’t cooperate with nail trims. You may have to take her to the vet to have her nails done every few months. She does well with other dogs, even large dogs. She is not much for playing though. She just wants to be petted by you and receive a lot of attention.

She is comfortable around babies and older children but does NOT do well with toddlers.

**For some unknown reason, Maggie does not like smokers. Maybe something happened to her prior to her first rescue from the shelter. She has a history of biting the ankles of people who smell like smoke!!**

She crates very well but would prefer not to be crated. She does not like to eat while in a crate.

Where did she come from: Owner Surrendered because she snapped at a Toddler that was pulling her hair.

Adoption: ***** $400.00 *****
Weight: 14 lbs.
Approximate DOB: 6/16/2012

ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/adoption-application --

Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --

------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------

6/4/26 4:51 AM
