Meet Maggie
My name is Maggie and I am an 8 month young Red Heeler. I was left in a cage in a field in TN and that is how I was found. Luckily I wasn't there for too long. I hated being caged up in such a nice field. Caged in a field?!? A Heeler needs to run in that field not be caged!
I am extremely smart and very high energy. That is just my breed but I am smarter and faster than most! My new family will understand my level of energy and they will keep up with me. I really like it here in my foster home where I have another doggie that I can play with all day in the back yard. My foster mom says that I must have a backyard where I can play and get all my energy out. She said that I am so smart that I could be an agility dog. What is that? I must find out!
I like kids and tolerate cats and I am already a lady since I know to go outside to do my business like a proper lady should. I also figured out how to walk on leash without dragging you all over the place. (even though I could easily do so)
I am also crate trained and I am quiet all night. I told you I am a lady, did you not listen?
I love to play. I can play all day but when I am done I like to cuddle with my human friends.
My foster mom says that I am a beautiful girl, smart and lovely and that my forever family will be very lucky to adopt me. Do you think so?
I can't wait to meet you. I will put a smile on your face every day of my life and I will warm your heart at night. While I patiently wait for you, I will learn this agility thing my foster mom talks about! I can climb, jump and listen to commands. What else can a girl like me do? Let me show ya!
Until then
Love
Maggie.
