Maggie's Story
Maggie is a 9 years, 6 months old female Large Mixed Breed who weighs 43 pounds.

Maggie is a sweet, gentle senior pit bull who is ready to spend her golden years being truly cherished. Maggie is the kind of dog who thrives on companionship. She loves leisurely walks and being close to her people, soaking up every moment of attention.

Maggie came to the shelter through no fault of her own; her previous owner could no longer give her the time she deserves, and she was being left alone for 10 hours + daily . Despite this, Maggie remains affectionate, personable, and wonderfully soft-natured. She has enjoyed dog friends of a similar size to her in the past, though she hasn't lived with other dogs, and she has successfully lived with older children. Maggie would do best in a home where she can be part of daily life. ]

If you are interested in adopting Maggie please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm to meet her. If you are unable to come during those hours please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what other times may be available.
